The DemX coin is the native shariah-compliant L1 utility token of the DemX protocol which uses POA Consensus.
The DemX has a kind of ETF structure and backed by various precious metals which makes it easy for investors to diversify their portfolios. DemX guarantees the fundamental price.
The weighted average of all precious metals reveals the fundamental price of the DemX token. Depending on the balance of the supply and demand in the effective market price should be higher but, the fundamental guarantee can not be lower than the fundamental price, this prevents excessive depreciation even in the bear market.

Transaction Fees
Every transaction must be paid in DemX for trading precious metals, performing governance or staking on the protocol.
Staking
50% of fees *paid in DemX* are sent to the staking reward pool. By staking DemX, people have a right to receive a reward.

Halal - Shariah Compliant
Staking works on 30-day cycles. During each cycle, protocol fees are collected and 50% of those fees are distributed to stakers.
A minimum of 20% and a maximum of 45% of transaction fees are burned forever.
